At the Academy Theatre, we believe that live theatre is the most dynamic way to engage young people and help them explore the issues they confront today. For more than 50 years, performing throughout Atlanta and the Southeast, we have proven that our issue-oriented productions impact students and teachers, raise awareness, and change behavior.

Perform for as many as 500 students free of charge to the schools

Offer free ticket to the community for mainstage performances in our theater space in Avondale Estates
We train teachers in the Southeast in the use of innovative theatre exercises and arts-related techniques for resolving conflicts in the classroom and facilitating students' retention of knowledge!
